Back to Previous exhibits Neil Andersson and Barbara Newton "an exhibition of new pastels and paintings" September 13th to October 30th, 2010 ARTIST RECEPTION: Sept 16th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Neil Andersson holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Landscape Painting and favors scenery from France, recently turning to Puget Sound for imagery. He recently retired from the well-known Gypsy Jazz group Pearl Django, which he co-founded, to concentrate on his painting. He is part Native American, descended from the Salish Kootenai of Montana.
